Children: We want to hear what it is like to come to a new country to live. Share your stories on this site
Teachers: We want you to use this as a learning resource in your schools.
Families: We want you to be a part of this too, sharing and exploring stories with your children.

This project uses an interface called a VoiceThread. A VoiceThread is an online media album that can hold essentially any type of media (images, documents and videos) and allows people to make comments in 5 different ways - using voice (with a microphone or telephone), text, audio file, or video (with a webcam) - and share them with anyone they wish. A VoiceThread allows group conversations to be collected and shared in one place, from anywhere in the world. This VoiceThread is called Migrant Children's Digital Stories.

This project is run in collaboration with the Capital E National Theatre for Children's contribution to the Capital E National Arts Festival with the world premiere of Kia Ora Khalid.
This project is also a video installation with stories found inside suitcases!

I will say to you
It is people, It is people, It is people
